Industrial & OT Cybersecurity Services

From assessment to sustained improvement.

Signal Ridge helps industrial organizations understand cybersecurity risk, determine what matters most, and turn findings into practical improvement.

A Complete Improvement Cycle

Start with the operational problem, not a predefined package.

Our work can begin with an assessment, a specific operational concern, or an existing improvement program. From there, Signal Ridge helps establish priorities, address identified gaps, validate that improvements are working, and maintain useful context as the environment changes.

01 / Assess

Understand the environment before deciding what to change.

Signal Ridge combines structured assessment methods with industrial context, technical evidence, and professional judgment to develop a defensible view of cybersecurity posture and risk. Assessment findings remain connected to evidence and operational context so recommendations reflect the environment being assessed rather than simply the framework being used.

  • IEC 62443-2-1 security program and maturity assessments
  • NIST CSF 2.0 cybersecurity assessments
  • IEC 62443-3-2 OT risk assessments
  • OT asset inventory and exposure assessments
  • IEC 62443-2-4 service-provider assessments
  • Architecture, segmentation, remote access, and firewall reviews
02 / Prioritize

Turn findings into decisions.

Not every finding carries the same operational consequence, and not every improvement can happen at once. Signal Ridge helps translate findings into practical priorities by considering risk, operational impact, dependencies, implementation effort, existing safeguards, and organizational capacity. Related findings can be organized into coordinated workstreams with ownership and sequencing so the roadmap connects individual gaps to the larger cybersecurity program.

03 / Remediate

Move from recommendation to implementation.

Signal Ridge can remain involved after an assessment to help plan, coordinate, implement, and validate remediation activities. Work may address governance and cybersecurity programs, policy and procedure, asset management, network architecture and segmentation, firewall and secure remote access, secure configuration, account and access controls, vulnerability-management processes, backup and recovery readiness, documentation, and other improvements identified through assessment or risk analysis.

Where remediation requires specialized engineering, product expertise, or significant system integration, Signal Ridge can work alongside existing engineering teams, controls integrators, IT providers, OEMs, and technology partners rather than attempting to replace them.

04 / Monitor

Maintain context as the environment changes.

Cybersecurity posture does not remain static between assessments. Assets change, vulnerabilities emerge, configurations evolve, and threat activity develops. Signal Ridge can incorporate industrial threat and vulnerability intelligence into ongoing cybersecurity programs and, where appropriate, support recurring asset and exposure monitoring through strategic technology relationships. Monitoring complements—not replaces—assessment, remediation, and operational ownership.

05 / Exercise

Prepare people as well as systems.

Signal Ridge develops and facilitates OT-focused tabletop exercises, scenario-based workshops, incident-readiness exercises, and targeted education designed around realistic industrial conditions. Exercises help teams understand responsibilities, identify weaknesses in plans and communications, and work through difficult decisions before they must make them during an actual event.

06 / Validate

Confirm that safeguards work as intended.

A completed remediation task is not necessarily an effective control. Signal Ridge performs technical and evidence-based validation to determine whether cybersecurity safeguards have been implemented correctly and are operating as intended. This can include IEC 62443-3-3 technical validation, configuration and architecture verification, remediation validation, evidence review, and focused control testing appropriate to the operational environment.

07 / Reassess

Measure improvement against the previous baseline.

Rather than treating each assessment as an isolated event, Signal Ridge can preserve assessment context, findings, evidence, remediation activity, and previous decisions so organizations can measure progress over time. The result is a cybersecurity program that can demonstrate improvement—not simply produce another report.

Frameworks & Methods

Recognized guidance, applied in operational context.

IEC 62443

Including 2-1 security programs, 3-2 risk assessment, 3-3 system security requirements and validation, and 2-4 service-provider practices.

NIST CSF 2.0

Governance and cybersecurity capability assessment across Govern, Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, and Recover.

Sector-Specific Guidance

Applicable sector guidance and established practices are incorporated where they improve the relevance and practicality of the engagement.

Start with the problem, not the package.

If you know you need an assessment, have an existing finding that needs remediation, or simply need help determining where to begin, the conversation can start with the operational environment and work forward from there.
